Baton

Create a baton is a children’s craft with which the children can learn to create a complement for their costumes.

  • Colored tape
  • Temperas

Gather all the materials you need together to make sure that then you do not miss anything: the stick, the colored tape..

The next step is to cover the stick entirely with the colored tape sticking it around.

Now make “marks” with other colours in your baton, also with tape. You can mark the place to hold it, one of its ends…

Then, use the temperas to finish decorating your baton.

Finally, if you want you can make a “bracelet” with a cord and hold it to the baton with tape. So, you will avoid that it falls of your hand if you use it to walk.
